Horrifying case of three American women found dead in Belize takes a dramatic twist as new theory emerges

Kaoutar Naqqad, 23, Imane Mallah, 24, and Wafae El Arar, 26, were found dead in their room by staff at the Royal Kahal Beach Resort in San Pedro on February 22.



Three American women, Kaoutar Naqqad, Imane Mallah, and Wafae El Arar, were found dead in a Belize hotel. While local authorities initially suggested a drug overdose, a new theory points to possible carbon monoxide poisoning. A second autopsy is being conducted in the US. Investigators have reportedly found other instances of carbon monoxide poisoning at the resort. The families of the deceased have called their deaths "suspicious."
