Fashion designer John Rocha is objecting to a proposed development by Covelo Developments on the grounds of Montebello House, near his Killiney home. Rocha and his wife filed an objection with Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, citing concerns about tree removal and the potential for further development, including apartments. They view the current proposal for four houses as a "Trojan horse." The developer, Sean Keegan, has a history of controversial building practices.
