Christopher O'Grady (33) , formerly of Muirhevnamor, Dundalk, Co Louth, had denied the single count of raping the then 19-year-old woman on January 1st, 2019. He was homeless at the time and is in custody.
Christopher O'Grady, a 33-year-old man from Louth, was convicted of raping a 19-year-old Spanish tourist in Dublin city centre on New Year's Eve, January 1st, 2019. The prosecution argued that O'Grady led the intoxicated woman to a secluded area near Dublin Castle and raped her.
