A nightclub fire in Kocani, North Macedonia, killed 59 people and injured over 100 due to illegally obtained licenses, lack of safety equipment, and flammable materials. Thousands protested, demanding justice and an end to corruption. Approximately 20 arrests were made, including government officials and the nightclub manager.
