Ilamar Rodrigues Ribeiro, 54, was jailed for nine years in Dublin for renting properties under false pretenses and using them as brothels across rural Ireland between 2018 and 2023. He pleaded guilty to multiple offenses including using false instruments, brothel-keeping, money laundering (€788,982), and possession of child abuse material found on his phone. The investigation began after two women alleged trafficking and identified properties used as brothels linked to Ribeiro.
