Anthony Hickey, Fabio Vicente and Matin Zolfaghari sentenced to between 14 and 16 years
Matin Zolfaghari, Anthony Hickey, and Fabio Vicente have been jailed for the 2019 rape and sexual assault of a vulnerable woman they met in a Dublin nightclub. Hickey was convicted of rape, oral rape, and sexual assault; Vicente of two counts of rape; and Zolfaghari of oral rape. The judge described their actions as "cruel, cynical, and depraved," noting the victim's vulnerability and the coordinated nature of the abuse. The victim stated that the men, strangers to her, took advantage of her as if she were an object.
