Ilamar Rodrigues Ribeiro, 54, was jailed for nine years in Dublin for renting properties under false pretences to use as brothels across rural Ireland between 2018 and 2023. He pleaded guilty to multiple offences, including using false instruments, inducing landlords, brothel-keeping, possessing proceeds of crime (nearly €800,000), and possession of child sexual abuse material.
