A man in his 40s will stand trial at Letterkenny Circuit Court on May 20, 2025, for allegedly intentionally striking a woman with a car at An Grianán of Aileach fort on Easter Sunday, 2024. He is also charged with assault, causing harm, and making a threat to kill. He appeared in Buncrana District Court, where a book of evidence was served on him. The case was adjourned until April 10, 2025, for him to consider a guilty plea.
