NASA astronauts return to Earth after 9 months stuck in space

The SpaceX capsule carrying Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, along with two other astronauts, parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico in the early evening Tuesday.

NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams returned to Earth in a SpaceX capsule after 9 months on the International Space Station (ISS), exceeding their planned mission duration due to delays.
