Oil tanker and cargo ship collide in North Sea with emergency services scrambled

An oil tanker, the Stena Immaculate, collided with a cargo ship, the MV Solong, in the North Sea off the coast of East Yorkshire, resulting in a fire and a major search and rescue operation. Over 30 casualties were brought ashore, and the Marine Accident Investigation Branch is investigating. The collision is the second maritime incident in the Humberside Estuary in the past week.
