North Korea has been supplying a vast amount of weapons to Russia, as well as thousands of troops.

A Russian security official, Sergei Shoigu, met with Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang after reports of North Korea sending troops to Russia to aid in the Ukraine war effort. Shoigu conveyed a message from Putin, thanking North Korea for its support and vowing to uphold agreements. Discussions included the war in Ukraine, security on the Korean Peninsula, and the security partnership between Russia and North Korea, which pledges mutual assistance if either country faces aggression.
