Smith, LaGrange face more questions over AHS firings and procurement practices
Premier Danielle Smith and Health Minister Adriana LaGrange face increasing scrutiny regarding the dismissal of the former AHS board, the firing of former AHS head Athana Mentzelopoulos, and allegations of corruption in government procurement contracts. New reports allege the AHS board was dissolved the day it was set to receive a report on these allegations. LaGrange remains tight-lipped, citing legal proceedings, while Smith defends the existing layers of approval. The NDP calls for a full inquiry and for LaGrange to be fired.
