St Patrick's Day 2025: where to celebrate in London, from pubs to bars and the parade

Let’s hope there’s enough Guinness to go around

St. Patrick's Day 2025 in London features a parade on March 16, starting at Hyde Park Corner and ending at Trafalgar Square, with live music, floats, and a main stage by the London Irish Centre. A film festival with a sustainability theme highlights the event. With over 170,000 Irish expats, London's Irish pubs and bars are vibrant spots for celebration. Notable venues include The Audley in Mayfair with a ceilidh band, The Sun Tavern in Bethnal Green offering oysters and whiskey, Darby’s in Vauxhall with music and dining, Smith and Wollensky in Covent Garden hosting a ticketed event, Big Penny Social in Walthamstow with live music, Dickie’s Bar at Corrigan’s Mayfair with special cocktails, and Gibney’s in Old Street with Guinness and live events. Many Irish pubs like Homeboy and Auld Shillelagh will also participate, ensuring a lively celebration across the city.
