Kids can sit in the cockpit and 'take control' of the flight deck
The Manchester Airport Flight Academy offers children aged 4-12 the chance to experience being a pilot during the February half-term at the Runway Visitor Park. Sessions for 4-7-year-olds run from February 19-22, while 8-12-year-olds can join on February 19-20. Each 90-minute session includes cockpit time, learning about airport roles, runway observations, and a flight simulator. New this year is a £6 short tour of the Concorde, with the full £18 tour also available.
