Ukraine wants to use Irish aid for radar, drones and armoured vehicles

Ministers told the non-lethal items to be funded would be determined in consultation with Ukraine



Ukraine seeks to use €80 million of Ireland's €100 million non-lethal aid package to procure electronic warfare jamming equipment, unarmed surveillance drones, and armored personnel carriers from Ukrainian industry in partnership with Lithuania and Denmark. The top priority for Ukraine is non-lethal elements of air defense systems such as radar. The aid is being provided through partnerships with EU member states and the Ukraine Defence Contact Group Coalitions on demining and ICT.
