The University of Galway Students' Union elected new officers, including Sean De Búrca as Vice President and Education Officer, Paddy Murnane as Vice President and Welfare and Equality Officer, and Rachel Aine Ní Mharascáil as Vice President for the Irish Language, after a record voter turnout. Maisie Hall was also elected.
