Why a stranded Dutch cargo ship crew is getting sweets from British locals

The H&S Wisdom ran aground on 2 March - and is unlikely to move until the end of this month

A Dutch cargo ship, H&S Wisdom, ran aground in the Humber estuary on March 2nd while en route to Gunness Wharf Port. The crew is stranded and awaiting the spring tide around March 28th for a refloating attempt. Local residents are donating food, water, and sweets to the crew, who are in good spirits despite the isolation.
