Unlike his predecessors, Brig Gen Rossa Mulcahy will be granted full command and control of all military formations

Brig. Gen. Rossa Mulcahy is expected to be appointed as the new head of the Irish Defence Forces, with the role being expanded to include full command and control and a title change to Chief of Defence.
