Black Canadians see progress on equity in workplace, even as racism persists: report
A KPMG report indicates that 86% of surveyed Black Canadians believe their employers have made progress in creating a more equitable workplace in the past five years, but 77% have experienced racism at work in the past year. 78% feel online hate is spilling into the workforce, and 90% want business leaders to speak out against racism. The report is based on a survey of 1,000 Black Canadians conducted in December 2025.
