Remains found at the Prairie Green landfill in Manitoba have been confirmed as those of Marcedes Myran, a victim of convicted serial killer Jeremy Skibicki. This follows the earlier identification of remains belonging to Morgan Harris, another of Skibicki's victims, at the same landfill. A search was initiated after years of advocacy from families and Indigenous leaders. Skibicki was convicted of murdering Myran, Harris, Rebecca Contois, and an unidentified woman. The remains of Contois were found in a different landfill.
