Die Stiftung Warentest hat Wasserkocher getestet. Während gleich zwei Modelle mit Zusatzfunktionen als Testsieger hervorgehen, schneiden auch preiswerte Geräte ohne Extras gut ab.
Stiftung Warentest tested 13 kettles and 2 hot water dispensers in the 3/2025 issue of their consumer magazine. The test included factors like boiling time, handling, environmental properties, and safety. The Rommelsbacher Sunny Wasserkocher WK 3000 and the WMF Küchenminis Glaswasserkocher Vario were named as test winners. The Severin kettle made of plastic was the most energy-efficient. Kettles with temperature selection are on average twice as expensive.
