The Björn Steiger Foundation is filing a complaint with the Federal Constitutional Court, arguing that Germany's emergency medical services are deficient and require reform. The foundation believes the federal government is failing to ensure a nationwide, uniform, and high-quality emergency service system. They are also suing Baden-Württemberg over a new rescue law they deem inadequate. The federal government denies the existence of a "shadow structure" by NGOs.
