Three men due before court over alleged public order offences in Coolock last summer

The alleged offences date to when there was unrest in the area last July.

Keith Daly, 47, was identified in bodycam and RTÉ footage as allegedly inciting a riot of 500 people in Coolock after the announcement of plans to house international protection applicants at a former factory. Daly, along with Ross O'Neill, 34, and Patrick Maughan, 21, appeared in Dublin District Court, charged with public order offences, burglary, theft, criminal damage, rioting and violent disorder. All three were granted €200 bail with conditions to stay away from IPAS centres, remain contactable, and avoid social media.
