We are least likely in the EU to know other languages. A bold new curriculum change may change that

While some educators worry about the impact on Irish language instruction and view the plan as aspirational, the rollout is expected to be incremental, focusing initially on basic communication and awareness. Leaving Cert students will also face oral exams in English.
