The Community Benefit Wishlist was launched last month on the council’s web pages and aims to put groups in touch with suppliers who can provide financial and practical help to strengthen and develop communities.
West Lothian Council launched a Community Benefit Wishlist connecting local community groups with suppliers who can offer financial and practical support. The initiative, resembling a community noticeboard, allows groups to post requests for assistance, which are reviewed before being added to the live list. Numerous Third Sector groups have already signed up, seeking donations, materials, and volunteers for various projects.
